Back to Chatuchak Market which has and endless selection of food and drinks, ranging from small beverage stalls on almost every soi or corner , iced refreshments, noodles, rice & curries, rice with roast pork, chicken rice, Thai-style fast foods and sweets.

What an attractive disposal of this colourful selection, so very well composed. Clean and bright, they aren't from the street, but problably from the supermarket. When travelling I'm allways curious about every food that I don't know and want to taste it. Interesting graphic image. Thanks a lot.

You have a wonderful eye for pattern and colour, Marilyn and you have caught a strong 'abstract' pattern here. I might have passed it bye. Actually, I have taken pictures of such patterns and colours, fruit, bolts of silks etc, but never dared to post them. I think this kind of subject need a lot of panache to get noticed on TE. Your picture oozes panache! It抯 delightful!

Hello Marilyn, this is a very colourful display and it makes for a bright and eye-catching photo. But the bold colours do nothing to attract me to eat this food. The sweets look like they are plastic! Maybe they are and that is why your title ends with a question mark??

Hi Marilyn, A nice shot of the colorful food here. I am not sure those are man-made food or natural grown food in this picture. In any case, the colors are very refreshing, attractive and well saturated. A well taken picture.

This are real! You actually can eat it? Funny, the other picture were plastic fruits and looked real and this looks artificial but are comestible? Go figure!

Hello Marilyn.
A delightful image with a graphic quality to it. Very well framed, too. You may have cut off the container on the lower right because of intruding objects. I don't find any problem with this at all. On the contrary, I think you've achieved a good overall balance in the composition.

Hi Marilyn. Not a very original subject, but wow what a riot of colour. Your perfect focus, exposure and DOF makes this stand out from so many similar market shots from SE Asia. I bet all the sugar in these will rot your teeth and the artificial colours your stomach too ;) Cheers . . . David
