Many people also come to make some cash by playing in the street, you can also find all styles there... here some punks..

Bangkok punks...I like it. You appear to have caught them in full flight, really putting their heart & soul into the music. Although it seems that the girl to their right isn't overly impressed by the way she faces away from the music! And their friend in the background is trying to look really cool...I wonder who he's trying to impress?

Really funny scene, Laurent. And to think that maybe next week, these kids might don the yellow robe and shave thei,r heads to pay respect a season for their parents.... :-)

I see everyone is looking your way, someone is even calling the police to stop such outrage (can't be much more off tune than thai folk music!)...Just joking.

Here, i think you should have really tried to add a bit of power to their presence by shooting up from a lower angle, getting even closer to one or wait for the 4 of them to be all as one, so to speak.

Streetlife of punks making some small money, the shot is full tension of each person with their own dynamic or static poses ordered in a V-shape going from one person to another, each with their expression towards a fuzzy background, indeed a strong example of streetlife.

Hey, I haven't seen punks in Bkk for ages,(there may still be some lurkking in the Khow San Road) but then I never go to Jatujak. The difference between Thai and western punks, I found was that the Thias we all so gentle and sweet and loved to be photographed. Not angry or 'alienated' at all. Here is was a fasion only, not a statement about attitude to life, I think.This is an interting daily life shot. It is a bit busy. You have decided to leave the background quite sharp, but then the assorted undergarments and the astonished girl on the telephone all add to the atmosphers.There is one punk hidden , but who has an interesting hairstyle, and the face of the guitarist is hidden. I can't help thinking that you might have waited and got and even better moment. Regards Kevin

nice documentary shot. What I like is the detail of the girl on the right talking on the phone and her reaction to these guys. Perhaps that says a lot about their perception in general society.

You got a funny out of the ordinary daily life scene here. Each one requires attention and I especially like the sequence from this guy with the guitar to the one in the right background and the girl with the mobile, but also the others are great. The composition is very well executed and well balanced. Excellent shot!

There is so much detail of interest here. I like the expression on the singer's face as he really puts everything into his performance. I also like the expression of the girl in the background; she looks startled.

This is great youth, and urban scene. You see many people in London who are part of this form of youth culture. I like the lady/girl on the mobile phone; she looks absolutely petrified. I hope you didn't frighten her!! Nice shot and great social commentary.

You came back pretty strong Laurent, and I'm very happy for that. Beautiful daily life image, one that we see more and mori in the streets of Bangkok. I am not sure that it is good to see people from other cultures trying to live by the western standards, only the time will tell.

A great daily life scene with great expressions captured. Nicely framed too. I like the look of bemusement captured on the girl's face on the right.

Hi Laurent,
One could do a whole book of street musicians. They're difficult to capture because of the noisy backgrounds but you having managed this hurdle well by positioning yourself so the musucians are in the light and almost everything else is in shadows. You've also captured their burden; they just want to share the music that means everything to them and nobody wants to listen, not even the girlfriend. Nice the way you've captured the blur of the guitarist's flying hand.

Definitely a great street shot. Much different than alot of your latest musician shots. A great action streetlife scene on the punkers of Bangkok.

Are you even with your camera? I think this is a kind of shot absolutely aleatory. You don`t go to the street to hunter a street band, does you? Very interesting photo more else for the colorfull background.
