Sanctuary of Truth, also called Wang Boran and Prasat Mai) is a temple construction in Pattaya, Thailand. The sanctuary is an all-wood building filled with sculptures based on traditional Buddhist and Hindu motifs. The building is close to 105 meters (345 feet) high and covers an area of more than two rai. It features contemporary Visionary art based on traditional religious themes. The project was initiated as an idea of Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant in 1981, and is scheduled to be complete in 2025.
The style of the Sanctuary evokes Khmer architecture, displaying hand-carved wooden sculptures indicative of the imperial setting at Angkor. It has four gopura, respectively representing images from the Buddhist and Hindu religions and mythologies of Cambodia, China, India and Thailand.[1] According to the official website, its purpose is to use art and culture as "a reflection of the Ancient Vision of Earth, Ancient Knowledge, and Eastern Philosophy. Within this complex, visitors will understand Ancient Life, Human Responsibility, Basic Thought, Cycle of living, Life Relationship with Universe and Common Goal of Life toward Utopia"

Hi Serrghei,
Such beautiful framing of this fine temple, I love how you have created this result! the level of detail in the roof here is really superb, and the people at the tables in the lower part of the frame makes an excellent reference point to the scale of this place.

You know, if we ever have to send an envoy to an alien planet to drive intergalactic tourism on Earth, I nominate you :)

You have got here a beautiful shot of this mighty temple . The parasols provide a sense of scale about how huge the temple might be. Magnificent and unique architecture.
Very good use of the vertical format to catch the magnitude of this temple. Very well done!

Hello Serghei,
The overhanging foliage makes the perfect frame for this beautifully decorated temple roof. The colourful parasols make an attractive frame and add some splashes of contrasting colour.

Fine view of the Thai temple, framed by Nature's trees.
Very elaborate and detailed religious architecture with a reminder to me of European renaissance architecture's towers and spires, yet basic Asian structure.

priviet Serghei, Good idea to return to visited places and to show the most interesting. Amazing temple. I like the composition very much - with the trees framing it and umbrellas in the lower part. It is a pity the photo is so small, we read it is something peculiar but details of this wooden architecture so to small to appreciate. Maybe you could show more details, the endings of the roofs are indeed unique.
