Photographer's Note
Rambutan (Ngoh): A fruit native to many Southeast Asian nations; Thai rambutans, mostly grown in the South and East, are sweet and succulent, the juicy flesh coming easily away from the stone. Favourite varieties are Ngoh Rong Rien and Ngoh Si Chompoo.

Very nice still life, Laurent. A cool compo, and it says (at least to me), Thailand!, as well as any other shot.

Salut Laurent,
I'm curious with new tastes of the world. Those Rambutan's never tried to eat but reading Your note I thought that it must be delicious. Good texture and contrast. I like it. Cheeers. maki

Thats my favorite fruit. i love the taste. Actually the rambutan is the one fruit I go to know in South East Asia that I didnt know before. The other one was, well, too smelly for me to try. I like the amount of detail here. Those spikes have a great graphic quality to them.

Hi Laurent,
I like the graphic side of this shot. Greenish spikey ends make a nice contrast to this red fruit.
Nice presentation through a close-up,
Robi

Laurent I love this photo of Souteastern Fruit too. These are one of my favorites. If I did not work in a produce warehouse I don't think I would know about these juicy ones. Nice lighting and very well presented!

Bonjour Laurent,
Thank you for your feed-back on Marilyn last post. I remember this original series of yours, in which the mangoustine has a magnificent result. Still, this one also resulted on a wonderful pattern. I continue with my question. Does this fruit exists in Goa?
Obrigado,
Um abraço,
Ricardo

Salut laurent :)
