Landscapes of the north, a photo from Lao Cai, North East

Photographer's Note

From the coastal Island of Cat Ba in the stunning Ha Long Bay to the mountains at the border of China and Laos, the north of Vietnam is blessed with a great variation of landscapes, partly because of Nature but also because of ages of human exploration and inhabitance.
Here a view of the landscape north of Ta Van in the far west of the country where nature is still the ruling factor.

Nice view even the weather was foggy, good view of slopes and deep valley, interesting photogenic effect with te trail to give perspective at your view, nice warm tone with the color o the ground, tfs.

Hello Gerrit,

I could not help having a feeling of 'The Land that Time Forgot', I think especially created by the misty b/g, seeming haunting and mysterious!
The land is remarkably rich looking, from the colour of the soil and what a fine composition you have created by using the pathway so well.

The scenery is beautiful and you made the best of it. This is a very well proportioned composition with a great light and attractive contrasts of green and brown. It looks very much like a landscape painting from the 18th or 19th century.
