in the old town of hanoi there are 36 alleys which are named after the things that are sold there. there is one alley where you just can buy buttons and zippers, one with childrens clothes and toys etc..this picture was taken in the alley where only bamboo products are sold. the old woman was sitting there looking around. maybe she sold something too.
