Photographer's Note

One does not head into the Old Quarter for peace and quiet. I spent a whole morning walking around. So lively ! The Old Quarter is unique, and you have to experience it by your own; having breakfast, lunch, because its food on the streets is wonderful. If you taste a ' b醤h g'i ' a round wheat-flour 'tortilla'' folded over a bit of meat and vegetables in the shape of a half moon and fried into a Vietnamese 'taco', served with salad and a Halida beer, I am sure you will repeat again and again ... Half of the inhabitants of the quarter cook for the other half.
The Old Quarter does not have rows of huge trees, nevertheless the residents make room for nature by growing ornamental plants on narrow sunroofs, balconies. Even they are able to make space to sell the baguettes in the middle of the motorcycles !!
