The market in Hoi An operates in all weathers a section right beside the river was closed due to the flood. Traders just squeezed under whatever shelter they could find in the main part. It is a typical Vietnamese market with all business done at the level of the sitting sellers and at least 2 people spotted me.

Hello Ian, I was on this market. Wonderfuul pikcture, with the women in conical hats, and the low colourful stools, no doubt it is Vietnam. Delightful composition.

Isn't it remarkable, the resilience of these people. When you have to make a living, you ignore the conditions!

It is a very fine photograph, nicely angled, colourful and sharp, and like the locals, you persevered and succeeded, despite the wet weather conditions.

Ian, that market offers a wide range of vegetables like aubergines, tomatos, pumpkins but also spices like ginger and eggs, lemons. I like the traditional conical hats the vendors wear. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Ian,
A very colourful market scene where the typical Vietnamese hats demand attention in addition to the vegetables on offer.
I was in Vietnam in 2017 and only in the north.
Then I also thought about travelling to Hoi An. As this was quite a distance to cover, I asked several westerners if they had enjoyed Hoi An and most of them advised against a visit due to the large number of tourists there. But your photos of Hoi An seem really beautiful to me.
