This is pretty cool. You were certainly in an interesting position to take this photo. When I am looking at this, I keep turning my head 90 degrees, I can't help but think it might look better in portrait orientation. Good timing on the splash of the guy going into the water and good positioning of the other guy.

The workshop might make the photo more "readable", but the moment is fantastic, seen by every point of view.
I like the splash in the water, the man on the boat looking back and the boy preparing to junp.
That's a nice composition!

this is a great shot!!!

but to be honest i'd like to see this in a square format.. something similar to hasselblad results..

the reason being that at the moment there is too much dead space on one side of the frame
i love such photographs in which a photograph is almost empty .. ALMOST..
i think even a speck of a boat would have made me happy about the right side..

but the main reason why i think a square crop would do this good is because you've got a beautiful curve in the stairs here.. and you have not managed to use this curve optimally..
the moment you manage to do so, the whole feel of the photograph changes entirely..

will give you a workshop to give you an idea of what i'm talking about..
my thoughts are verrrry subjective

I totally agree with what Sohrab has said and done in the workshop - I think that was a really inspired move on his part! BUT - before any of that I still thought you had a fantastic and creative image here BUT I really do like the effect of the square format - yours is more dizzy making though I agree!.

Wonderful photo Ireland! This is a very distinctive point of view. I note the workshops that have been proposed and I agree with Sohrab that a square format is preferrable to this landscape format. However, I prefer the orientation you've chosen with the poised diver at the left. Putting him at the bottom reduces tension, which seems an important ingredient to this photo. I have one question however. Is the curve we see in the railing at the left a product of this fisheye lens or does it exist in the real world?

Wonderful detail throughout and perfect capture of the first diver entering the water. Excellent work.

Well done, this shot is totally amazing, I do not know where you are on the bridge (maybe flying over it ;-)...The "mise en sc鑞e" is really a great composition and I feel The Life in this pic..."Hop", this is one of my favorite pics'.

Hello Ireland, I get vertigo looking at this picture. It's a wonderful perspective - I feel like I'm about to jump myself. The light and tone on the guy's shoulders is incredible. Great composition.

I've just had a look at the workshops and I definitely think this angle is the best to give the feeling of being ready to fly...
