There are more people riding horseback like these two cowboys in Cuba than old timer cars.
I managed to catch these two in a pose very familiar from Western movies.

The first day I was in Cuba, in the city of Vi馻les, I rented a horse and it was a very pleasant tour. The warm colors of the scene are beautiful! Wonderful composition! Well done!

Yes, the first impression that I had on seeing this photo was how closely it resembled a frame from one of those classic westerns. Masterfully composed with perfect framing, great light and lovely, vivid colours. I loved the shadow patterns on the road. Excellent camera work and thanks for sharing it.

Hi Gerrit,

I like the long shadows created by the side light from the right. Very good sharpness and the road adds superb lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective with the vanishing point towards the top right. The horseman coming in the opposite direction adds interest as well as compositional balance. Natural looking colour and well composed. Tfs!

this is a very apt title for a picture straight out of a Wild Western film! The horseman in the FG could indeed be going for his gun.
The long shadows and rich colours bring both warmth and charm to a well presented photograph.

Toch verschilt het landschap hier van hetgeen we meestal zien in westerns. Heel groen op deze foto en dicht bebost, mooi in contrast met de rode aarde van de stofferige weg.
Verder geeft het beeld ons een rustige en relaxte indruk van het leven in dit deel van Cuba.

I have never been on Cuba, but this landscape reminds me a lot of places in the world. Very nice and picturesque landscape on the background, impressive red soil as a mark of iron there.
