Night Boats Panorama, a photo from Saint George, North

Photographer's Note

A wide angle view of the yachts moored just off Villa Beach. The sun has just set to the right of the frame and has produced the beautiful graduation of colour fading to darkness on the left. In the background at the left of the frame is Young Island, a luxury resort.

This is not a stiched panorama but a single wide angled shot with the uninteresting top and bottom removed.

Your image of the boats at sunset is wonderful... multiple combination of colors thru-out the horizon... great detail in the clouds... well done...

I also really like how you have included the landmass, Young Island, on the left side with the city lights reflecting on the water... appear as if the island in darkness is at a different time zone...

the colours and the clouds at the back are just beautifull.I dont quite like th left dark side of the pic, but a I think is great even with that.

I like this version, with the top and bottom zones removed, converting it in a panoramc view.
What a curious thing, we see the night (left) and day (right), together, at the same moment. Perfect time exposure to get all the scene. The silhouettes of the boats, the clouds, and the light reflections, are really well captured. Good job Jonathan.

This is a fine example of a dusk shot. Great varitey of colours in the clouds with the added hill on the left. I like how the lights are reflected off the water.
