Photographer's Note

Another photo of the village of Traunkirchen on the spectacular Traunsee. It was a warm sunny afternoon on a public holiday, so many people were lounging about on the grass next to the lake, soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the view, or like me, taking photos. The mountain in the background is the Traunstein.

Hello Vincent,
This is a very nice photo. The view as such is quite beautiful and there is an amusing similarity between the shape of the trees and the mountain. The red parasol is a fine eye-catcher, and the little bridge is also nice. A couple of persons animate the view which you captured with a very fine light and attractive colours.

Hello Vincent, a beautiful place to sunbathe.
That red parasol adds so much to the picture, the scenery is spectacular, that little piece of red is perfect, contrasting with the blues and greens.

We get a fantastic nature image, with lovely high mountains in background.
Red parasol gives additional colour.

Hello Vincent,

I had to study your photograph for a while to completely understand the arrangement of the water in the f/g and the water in the b/g. It really makes your composition very special, where the curved, grassy embankment makes an attractive separation line between the f/g and the b/g but links very well with the tall trees.
The f/g is colourful, with a well-positioned, red parasol, set against a more subtly coloured b/g as a good contrast.

lots to like here.
obviously the red splash of color is important, but I also like the overall mood and tranquility. Also, the left side of the frame is so opposite to the right side, the left appears to be in 3D or something. wonderful. cheers

It is really surprising that this lakeside town has so few photos in TE. That mountain looks great with its almost vertical face towards the lake. And this place for enjoying sunshine looks really inviting. There's no chance it could get too crowded.

spectacular sight! The mountain behind appears so high and makes a fantastic background for the beach scene. People clearly enjoy this beautiful weather day.
