Class 4024 electric train ready to depart from Seefeld in Tirol to Innsbruck. With more than one million overnight stays each year, Seefeld is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer. Railway line between Innsbruck and Seefeld is quite impressive. It climbs over 600 m from Inn river valley to Seefeld at 1182 m a.s.l within a distance of 20 km. Maximum gradient is 3.8 %.

Hello Kari,

This is an excellent photograph, crisp and detailed, with the focal train perfectly positioned in the frame. You neatly slotted the station beneath the surrounding mountains.
I like how the long expanse of the train guides us succinctly from f/g to b/g.
