MALDEGEM KLEIT.

Nature picture.

The photo was taken in Kleit, part of Maldegem, of one of the reservoirs, to collect excess water, to prevent flooding in Kleit village during heavy rainfall

The capacity of the existing basin is practically doubled. On the other side of the Baaikensedestraat there will be a second basin that will be the same size. The total capacity to buffer water is thus quadrupled. This should not only solve the problems caused by flooding in Kleit itself, but also the problems further downstream along the Eede. In recent years, the banks there already had to be strengthened and the Eede had already been dredged and cleared.

Lep rezervoar za skupljanje vode i zeleno drvece na obali, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perpsketivom.
Lepi oblaci i fotografija, dobro uhvacen trenutak.
Dobar teskt o korsicenoj tehnici i elementima snimka.

Hello John,

This reservoir, for excess water, makes a really attractive scene, great for photography.

I like how you have used the tall sapling, in the f/g, for depth and good composition.
You have clearly shown how the greenery rings the reservoir and, for you, have created superb reflections in the still water. The clouds also make excellent reflections.

Hi John,
wow, these clouds are so beautiful they decorate the sky and your composition so nicely! This is the type of sky which I would wish to have more often, it has a lovely pattern without stopping the sunlight.
Beautiful natural spot with the several horizontal layers of the composition and well saturated natural colors. The reflection in between is an extra bonus of course.

Hello John,
The three tall plants in the foreground frame the view of the reservoir perfectly and allow us a good view of the reflections of trees and clouds. The colours are well saturated and the photo is generally nicely processed.

Hallo John,
Ongelooflijk hoe je van dit natuurzicht een impressionante en zelfs bijna spectaculaire foto gemaakt hebt.
De wolken in de lucht spelen hier een belangrijke rol bij.
Maar ook je relatief lage standpunt waarbij we net over de voorste rij planten uitkijken en waarbij de weinige huizen min of meer verborgen blijven.
Mooie inkadering met die enkele dunne en kleine boompjes op de voorgrond.
De bomen en het riet die het water omringen worden te samen met de lucht goed weerspiegeld in het reservoir.
Prachtig fotowerk!

Hallo John,
Een prachtig gezicht op het meertje dat omringd wordt door vele tinten groen. Ook de jonge, maar al hogere boompjes op de voorgrond zijn een goed detail. Maar de witte wolken en hun spiegelingen in het water zijn het allermooist hier.

It is mostly visible in the clouds that appear as if they were 'doctored' by the HDR technique!

Mooie natuurfoto met fel contrast en heel diepe kleuren, John. Leuk om ook wat blauw in de lucht te zien. We zijn hier serieus aan het aftellen tot het eindelijk eens goed weer wordt dit jaar!
