During my bike ride I got heavy rain showers.
You cannot see, the puddles on the road.

Small community but very quiet.

Middelburg is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a sub-municipality of Maldegem. Middelburg is located in the northwest of the province, in the Meetjesland, near the border with the Netherlands. It is the smallest borough of Maldegem both in terms of territory and population and was an independent municipality until the end of 1976. It has an area of 5.86 km� and had 607 inhabitants at the end of 2007.

Interesantan i le pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lep puit, drvece i kuca, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perpektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze i najavljuju promenu vremena.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Dobar teskt o koriscenoj tehnici i elementima snimka.

Zelim vam lepu i mrinu noc, sve najbolje.

Hello John,
You got wet, but the puddles are perfect for catching reflections, so it was worth the trouble. And after the rain the sun came back and created a very nice light and good colours. This is a pretty view with the road curving behind the trees and a church tower in the distance.

a marvelous light effect after the rain with these reflections and the shape and color of the house so well contrasted against the rural landscape.
PS: in that my photo the solar slab I showed was seen from the under part, that is white, the opposite face was black and exposed to sun.

Hallo John,
Heel mooi als een schilderij.
Maar schilderijen tonen meestal geen weerspiegelingen. Hier vinden we ze wel in de plassen.
De kerktoren is goed geplaatst onder de overhangende takken.
Goed perspectief. Mooie compositie.
Een landelijke foto van een plaats waar het rustig om wonen is.

Hello John,

I like the small reflection of tree branches in the puddle at left. Well composed with the road coming in from the bottom left corner, with excellent colour, sharpness and lighting. Tfs!

Hello John!

The advantage of heavy rain showers is that you may mix up a street with a canal looking at the thumbnail: just a dark, mirroring surface with sharp brinks.
Simple, but a painter's view.

Hallo John,
Een mooie mix van regenwolken en een opklaring. Het is een heel mooi zicht op de weilanden, bomen en het huis en de kerktoren. De plassen aan de kant van de weg zorgen ook nog voor wat mooie spiegelingen.

Hello John

First, I notice a really beautiful composition, where the wet road makes an irresistible guide inwards, and shows very good tree reflections in the puddles.
The farm on the left is strongly placed, easily reached via the road, which then quickly guides us on to the tall tower, peeping over the trees.
The exposure is sharp and the colours very natural.
The cloudy sky matches the scene, plenty of grey clouds but with just a hint of blue sky.

What a marvel of composition, the place is idyllic with the green wooded fields, the houses between them, a great moment of light after the rain that adds some charming touches.

I live in a town called Middlesbrough which I suppose is something similar to Middelburg.
Beautiful rural scene here. The rainy mood is so well captured with some puddles in the foreground. Fantastic clarity and sharpness. Beautiful final effect,
