This photograph has been taken three weeks ago, beginning of autumn, an afternoon with a lot sun, no wind, really a good afternoon for a good strolls around my beloved Bruges.
These place on through a lot tourist are known, the angle of "Spiegelrei" "Spinolarei" direction Sint-Annarei.
Bruges is for much tourists a open air museum, I've already more than thousand picture taken, I want remain photographing in these lovely small city.
Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. (for my I am no traveler)
A justified motive that prompted UNESCO in 2000 the entire historical city on the list of world heritage. Between the winding alleys and romantic canals, you imagine yourself in the middle ages.
The wealth of museums is a striking image of the turbulent history of this city. Contemporary culture is also at issue in Bruges. There is the new Concert Hall, one of the largest in Flanders.

J'ai l'impression que tout n'est pas encore op閞ationnel sur le site, impossible d'avoir la gallerie...
J'ai l'impression qu'il y a surcharge dans le canot, ce qui prouve la qualit� de la ballade apparemment !!! Tr鑣 belle photo avec beaucoup de qualit� tant dans les couleurs que dans les lumi鑢es, j'aime beaucoup ton cadrage et ce premier plan qui apporte de la dynamique � l'image. Joli coup d'oeil, bravo John.

Voici un endroit qu'il doit 阾re agr閍ble de visiter.
Ces canaux ont l'air tr鑣 sympa. J'aime beaucoup la s閞ie de fa鏰de en arri鑢e plan. J'aurais coup� l'avant de la voiture qui d閜asse sur la gauche.
Un cadrage plus serr� aurait permis de centrer l'attention sur le bateau en supprimant un peu d'eau en avant plan.

Hello John,
The tourist boat with its wake makes an interesting foreground focal point and has the added benefit of inviting the viewer to step into the image. I like the the lovely ensemble of architecture in the background, the detail of which is beautifully rendered. Light, colours and clarity are all good here.

I feel as if I am one of those tourists of whom you speak! I loved Bruges! We were only there for a couple of days and I have always vowed to return ... if only other things didn't get in the way of my desires!!
The beauty and the cleanliness of the city ooze from your shot! The wake of the boat, from the corner of the shot, makes an irresistible lead towards the boat; then we duck under the bridge to enjoy the fine, detailed buildings! A lvely composition and a fine dof.

Goed avond Best John,

Bruges is always very nice with the canal and the superb Flemish houses. The boat give here a plesanat element of life. Good balance in the composition too with the boat very well located (the desicive moment !!!) The bell-tower in the BG give too depht to the image.

The small crowded tour boat cuts quite a figure as it leads the eye to the beautiful canal side architecture.

Merhaba Dear John
A nostalgic image of the beautiful architecture and historic texture of the impression of a city which I had cared about this city. They do not know the depth of the water in the channel, but with curious tourists, boat ride seems a little dangerous. City looks like dirty water through the channels, it is normally expected to be, would not be surprising.
General structure of a small section of the city, offering a taste of this interesting photo was a documentary.
In addition ,weather with partial clouds has brought a very sweet photo

Hallo John,
Een prachtige rij van onderling sterk verschillende huizen langs de Spinolarei.
Prachtige heldere kleuren onder een mooie lucht.
Alhoewel we op straat slechts een eenzame wandelaar met zijn hond zien, zit het bootje wel echt vol.
Het bootje met het witte kielzog erachter brengt leven in de foto en zorgt voor een mooie compositie.

Dobro vece gospodine, kod nas zima na pragu, trenutna temperatura 0 C stepeni.

Brugge, die scone! Heel mooie composotie met het bootje dat de foto binnenvaart. Niet een typische foto van Brugge (meestal zien we andere meer bekende zichten) en dat maakt de foto origineel. Heel goed van kleur en samenstelling.

But being fond of boats I choose this one: a splendid scenery captured and composed masterfully. The houses create a gay atmosphere with their colours and the sky is really interesting.

Many many years ago I visited Bruges and it was an impressive city. I liked the canals and I like this image of the boat about to pass beneath the bridge and the man walking his dog. The architecture of the city is wonderful. A lovely capture my friend.

This is a fine shot taken from a great POV. The boat full of tourists lead the eye into the perfectly. The angle of the bridge works well creating a good diagonal through the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness.
