Photographer's Note
We took a stroll in Durbuy and then suddenly these classic cars appeared, all Dutchmen - with a hell of a noise and stinking exhaust gasses.
The brown car appears to have been built from canvas... Cute thing, but I wouldn't feel safe in it. You could bring along your own personal airbags, of course: a full packet of bubble-gum!
Searching on the net, I discovered its name: a Velorex Oskar. Read all about it here.

Well I like the subject. If you are a fan of the film Brazil, you'll recognise that the one in the foreground, and behind the canvas one, are Messerschmitts, as used as official staff cars in the film. Shame you weren't a bit quicker, and caught the whole of the first one. Points tomorrow.

Ahh.. beautiful old cars. I wouldnt want to drive one in the middle of the city but they are nice to look at. The first one definetly seems to have a two stroke engine considering the nice bluish smoke cloud :-).
Great capture. Too bad you didn磘 get the whole first one too.

Great shot with a good note/link. I only wish the first car was a little more clear (that would requre a faster shutter speed though and then your DOF may not be able to include the even more important cars behind it). Great work

The canvas car in the middle is a Velorex, an old Czech car. They used to be registered as motor bikes.
