Photographer's Note
During a hike near our camp in the Belgian Ardennes the sky went from blue to dark grey. It was obvious we had to hurry to avoid a wet suit. After we arrived with our tent the thunder and lightning began.

There is something very foreboding about the light just before a thunderstorm....it quite literally goes very quiet and still before all hell breaks loose! I suppose that's why we have the expression "calm before the storm". You have captured that mood well here. Good placement of the trees, and that path on the left is a nice inclusion. This could easily have been taken somewhere in England. Lovely. Well done. Best wishes, Vicky
