This is a seller of all kinds of clothes and toys.
He speaks Dutch, English and Arabic languages but very real man friend, and immediately agreed for a portrait photo.

This is the street where the man live and working
揌oogpoort� street connects 揃elfortstraat� with 揋roentenmarkt� Currency Long and Short Mint. In the Middle Ages knew allow the section to the Vegetable Market, many goldsmiths and silversmiths. When the name was still "Oeghe Port"
It was a busy street. Now Hoogpoort has a number of fronts in different architectural styles, the oldest of which date back to the 13th-15th centuries, alongside some beautiful 18th and 19th century mansions.
Also with clothing stores and restaurants.

Hello John,

What a wonderfully cheeky looking fellow! And you have captured him perfectly with your 85mm "portrait" lens at a wide aperture to throw any background distractions beautifully out of focus.

The seller's features are portrayed in stunning detail and sharpness and the soft light brings out his natural skin colours and tones perfectly. And I love the intimate eye contact which you have managed to achieve.

I do hope that you managed to give this man a copy of this splendid portrait.

Congratulations on your new site, it looks very sleek. The only thing is that I would have gone with a more straight forward way to show my pictures without the fancy frame. But that is of corse a matter of personal taste.

Hallo John,
Ik vind je kader heel mooi en zeker goed passend bij het portret. De verschillende schakeringen van licht grijs tot zwart zijn passend bij de donkere en grijze haren van de man, zijn T-shirt en de achtergrond.
De gebruinde huid van de man zorgt voor de warmere tint op deze foto.
Het lijkt wel alsof je hem verrast hebt tijdens zijn werk. In ieder geval zijn zijn blik en houding heel natuurlijk.
Uitstekende scherpte met een goede wazige achtergrond.

Every pore in his skin and every strand of hair and beard shows up with high resolution. In Leonardo's words, "The eyes are the windows to the soul," he communicates with his eyes. This is one of the best portraits I've seen on Trekearth.

Incidentally, inspired by your words, I changed the title and story of my last post, the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico.
