The Oostmeers and Westmeers are streets in Bruges.

Description
A lake is a land that is situated on water, a low pastureland, which is often flooded during rainy periods.
The vast area known as De Meers was developed by drawing two parallel streets. To distinguish them, one was called Oostmeers and the other Westmeers. Later, another street was added, which was called Nieuwe Meers and in 1930, to follow the vernacular, it was renamed Zonnekemeers.

De Meers as a whole was thus already mentioned in the 13th century and probably much earlier:

Lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepe fasade i prozori, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa kisnim oblacima.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
lep deo grada i arhitektura.

Hallo John,
Ik herinner me niet meer exact waar in Brugge dit is maar ik herinner me de witte huisjes die we hier zien. Een eerder stil stukje van Brugge zonder de horden toeristen die je op vele plaatsen vindt.
Je had al gezegd dat je veel regen had vorige zaterdag. Dit wordt duidelijk op deze foto. De lucht ziet er ook niet uit of er beterschap op komst is.
Ondanks de donkere lucht toch een zeer helder beeld van de mooie huizen, de kerktoren en het gladde wegdek.

Hallo John,
Zelfs op zo'n regenachtige dag geeft deze foto een heel aantrekkelijk beeld van Brugge. Het contrast tussen het vierkante gele gebouw en de kleinere witte gevels is erg mooi en de kerktoren steekt er op de achtergrond mooi bovenuit.

Hello John,
It is quite a pretty street even on such a dull and rainy day. I like the low white building and the view of the church tower in the background. And if the weather would get even worse it is reassuring to have the pub offering 60 kinds of beer so close. I like the diagonal of the narrow street and the fine exposure in the limited light.

I like the effect of the rain on the picture. The point of view is showing the details of the buildongs. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi John,
the weather didn't spoil you but you did amazing job photographing this dark weather day. The heavy clouds actually decorate the view nicely and in the end you have very well recorded a rainy weather day ambiance.

Hello John, I like this point of view looking along the rather wet street, indeed the wet day didn't mar the view.

Hello John,

The street has a rich variety of building styles, changing all the way along, until the church spire appears over the rooftops!
I love the cobbled details, which shine in the rain and have created a slight reflection.
Even in inclement weather, the street still looks attractive.

A charming composition with the beautiful perspective of the street, which acquires its most interesting part, with the sequence of houses with white facades and tower emerging over them, a threatening sky and it seems that it had rained.
A magnificent coloring that gives a lot of chromatic richness to the image.
