Photographer's Note

This is the natural color of the water and both trees are straight. The geology is limestone with calcites. It's the 2 waterfalls that are on a diagonal tilt here. The pine trees on the ridge above the bg waterfall are also vertically aligned. There are several lakes connected with boardwalks, each lake slightly higher than the others. Over 1.1 million visitors were recorded in 2014.

Hello Chris, You are visiting marvelous places. PLitvice waterfalls, lakes, walkways are all fantastic. No wonder that there are so many visitors. Beautiful color of water, nice waterfall.

A magnificent park, Chris, and excellent view through the shades of the trees.
Turquoise color of the water and green bushs well lit, and in contrast the left side waterfall has a diff. texture.
Charming place for a vacation trip.

The two trees nicely frame the waterfall with their silhouettes adding a touch of graphism to the composition. The image is well exposed and has very good colours and clarity.

Tu as bien captur� la puissance des chutes. L'閠endue du lac donne de la profondeur � la sc鑞e. La prise de vue permet de voir les d閠ails des arbres et des rochers. Une bonne gestion d ela lumi鑢e intense qui ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne journ閑.

Quelle agr閍ble surprise de trouver un lac semblable au d閠our de la route avec en prime une tr鑣 belle cascade dans une nature qui semble vierge.Quelle belle couleur d'eau.

Hi Chris,
That place is surely unforgettable! Clear blue water and waterfalls surrounding it. Tree trunks add contrast nicely. Longish exposure shows the motion of water well.
