Photographer's Note

The Neretva flows through Bosnia, Herzegovina and Croatia into the Adriatic Sea building a delta. The area presents a variety of habitats which form a beautiful and remarkable landscape. Wetlands, marshes and lagoons, lakes, and mountains combine into a mosaic of natural habitats of the Neretva Delta.

Hello Ryszard,
There is a wonderfully warm light shining on the tall reeds and the calm water tells us of a very pleasant evening towards the end of the tourist season. It's a kind of light and atmosphere that could make anyone from northern Europe sentimental that autumn and darkness are quickly approaching.

Ryszard, the sun shining on the reeds adds an attractive golden hue. That wetland represents a refuge for the birds. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Hello Ryszard,
A wonderful and peaceful view of the river and its calm waters. The warm sunlight is beautiful and gave a wonderful, golden hue to the high grass along the bank, which makes a fine contrast with the bluish colours of the sky and the background.
