Photographer's Note
Mala Strana or the "lower-town" on the banks of the Vlatva-river, as taken from Karl-bridge one year ago.
On the WS is another side of the area.

Hello my dear Ike
Perfect framework and creative angle!!
Well considered framework again!
A little unsharpness is regrettable.
Thanks for sharing and have a good Saturday night!
Best regards,

Nice place, well registered. I compare this old town, with ours in Brazil. Here the river would be 100% polluted, and nobody will live so near it, because of the smell that the dejects will exhale.

Lovely photo Ike. The reflections are very nice, and the POV, framed by the trees adds depth here. I agree with Takero, that there is a lack of sharpness, but you have really inspired me to visit Prague.

nice view of the river and the colored houses around, these nude branches added some poetry to the scenery, despite the weak light the colors are very visible and produced a nice contrast with the greyish mood around. sharpness could be better.

Hi, Ike, greetings from New Zealand. Great cityscape - trees make it very alive!

Hello Ike.
This would have been a stunning shot under the right weather conditions but we can't always choose. Composition is perfect but I am missing a little sharpness. Nice reflections amd the fg tree add depth. Tfs!

Dobar dan.
Interesantan i lep pogled ...
Lepo pokazana raka i fasade kuca, dobra perspektiva i kontrast, lepe boje, lepo uhvacen trenutak. Lepe grane i drvece na obali, lepi krovovi i dimnjaci.
Zelim vam lepo popodne, sve najbolje.

Hello Ike,
The bridge was the perfect vantage point from which to get the best view and best use from the river.
At other times of the year, when the trees are in full leaf, this shot would probably not be possible.
It's a nice quiet spot, the river guiding to a strong vanishing point, with interesting, eclectic buildings along its bank. Some are facing and some are end on to the river.
The occupants obviously get the best use of their attics, with so many roof windows or roof lights in evidence!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Ike,
I don't remember this spot at all, and it makes me think how great it would be to simply have more time in places like Prague!
It has so many charming photogenic spots like this one.
Here certainly the tree branches being naked help to get more visibility of the area. So again it is probably good to be in one place at different seasons...
I must return to Prague some day :)
Lovely reportage,
M
