We will take another look at the South Slope in the Jeseník Spa. This time we are looking at a sculpture called Ascension. The author is again the Brno sculptor Jan Šimek, born in 1941. In the sculpture, the author captures the dramatic struggle of all human forces with the inanimate forces of nature. The rising human figure thus symbolizes the power of the human will and inner strength.

Ještě jednou se podíváme na Jižní svah do lázní Jeseník. Tentokrát se díváme na sousoší zvané Vzepětí. Autorem je opět brněnský sochař Jan Šimek narozený v roce 1941. Autor v sousoší zachycuje dramatický boj veškerých lidských sil s neživými silami přírody. Vzpínající se lidská postava tak symbolizuje moc lidské vůle a vnitřní síly.
