A Nice Place, a photo from Bourgogne, Central

Photographer's Note

This shot has been taken from the north hill of a large valley where Burgundy wine is grown, near the city of Beaune, and just before the first Morvan hills. Of course, the presence of a cemetery in the middle of famous vineyards, where an acre of ground is priceless catched my eye. Also, this vicinity can lead to many thoughts about life and death. I leave it to your imagination. I just remember that someboby (forgot his name) wrote something like ... as long as he has to die one day, let's get burried where there is good wine! If it has been said one day, that's the right place.

Well seen, and a good note. The composition is almost graphic, with the lines of vines around that cemetery. I don't like the sky, though, so I tried to cut it away. Maybe you like it, have a look at my workshop.

Vue plongeante sur un cimeti鑢e entour� de vignes.
Pas mal cette composition graphique dans cette r間ion viticole qui produit un excellent vin.
Cependant il manque un tout petit peu de contraste malgr� la prise de vue en milieu de journ閑.

View on a cemetery surrounded of vines. Not badly this graphic composition in this wine area which produces an excellent wine. However it misses very small little contrast in spite of the catch of sight in middle of day

Le graphisme est superbement exploit� par le point de vue sur閘ev�.
Comme mes pr閐閏esseurs, je regrette que cette image manque un peu de "pep" et le travail de paguru en WS est � cet 間ard int閞essant.
D'un autre c魌�, la lumi鑢e au moment de la prise de vue 閠ait certainement plus proche de la version originale de Jean-Michel.
C'est tout le probl鑝e de savoir comment traiter ce type d'image : accentuer pour la rendre plus attirante, mais sans toutefois la d閚aturer.
Pas toujours facile.
En tous les cas, un tr鑣 joli coup d'oeil !

Excellent pattern, Jean Michel. The gray area of dry plants at the top reminds me some parts of my country at summer time. A very nice shot.
