Photographer's Note
Detail of a worked door hinge strenghtening piece from a side door of the Saint-Mammes cathedral in Langres (XIIth and XVIIIth centuries). If you rotate the image 90° ccw, it becomes a stylized tree or a 7 branch chandelier. Don't you think such a design is really a work of art?

It is elegant and well seen. The sharpness is there and the composition ok but I think it should be a little bit darker.

A very nice detail of iron artwork. I like the textures of rus, stone, and wood. Nice croping.
Also an intersting idea to rotate 90 deg.

I like exactly as it is... without turning the pic, because this removes the logic beyond the pic.

I like it a lot! Very sharp, lots of different materials and textures and, finally, a lot of history at this door. Great shot!

La ferronnerie est très belle et les veines du bois ressortent bien dans ce tableau style antiquaire... J'aime également l'espèce de halo couleur rouille qui teinte le bois tout autour de la pièce métallique.

You have chosen the right title Jean-Michel, elegancy & strength... Lovely, veeeeery sharp, clear and almost "touchable" image.
I'm only concerned about the part of the wall & shadow disturbing a little, but how could have you avoided that?

Very interesting detail. Textures are great and the contrast of materials fantastic.
Anyway I think I would crop the stone and a bit of the top.

Bien vu Jean Michel. Il fut une époque où les gens prennaient le temps de bien faire les choses. Je serais tenté de recadrer l'image plus serrée du haut comme du bas. Well done indeed. Happy Hollidays.
