BELLEVILLE is one of my favourite districts in Paris. It is rougher kind of place with many different nationalities and a bit of an edge to it, a good place to go for Vietnamese food and a haven for street art. What's not to like?

THIS PICTURE is just a sample of the kind of street art you can encounter when you walk around in Belleville.

Goedenavond Benny,

Ik bewonderd deze graffiti schilder, want er steken eel wat verrassingen in deze schilderij.
Niet alleen in Parijs maar ook in onze regio's vinden we goed graffiti werk
Uw foto is wel degelijk goed genomen.

This is big, bold, colourful street art, easy on the eyes and fun to imagine, the artist at work.
What is not so good is the wanton scribble all around, probably by those wishing to be remembered but without skill!
