Photographer's Note

MUCEM, Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rh鬾e district.

First visit to MUCEM (Museum of Europe and Mediterranean civilizations), and first surprise for me. The museum is not confined to J4, this photogenic building designed by Rudy Ricciotti. Several museum spaces are installed in the Fort St. John. This sculpture mirror is situated in a corridor of the old fortress.

The MUCEM houses permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.

Beyond the collections aspect, MUCEM has been designed so that Marseilles inhabitants appropriate the place. Outdoor spaces in the Fort St. John and J4 are free. Several cafes and brasserie, a small open-air theater, a solarium, green areas and picnic tables are set for relax.

Salut Delphine.Il y a toujours quelque chose tres originale a decouvrir chez toi et l'image d'aujourd'hui est un nouveau magnifique example,quelle idee' et quelle realisation,aussi le virage en blanc et noir a donne' un effect decisif! Mes compliments et bon Dimanche,Luciano

A strange and exciting object to find in an old corridor! I hope you also got up closer and took other even more abstract images. I'm sure you did! Nice choice of monochrome too.
