Photographer's Note
MuCEM, Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rhône.
The outer circulations of the famous J4 of MuCEM (Museum of Civilization in Europe and the Mediterranean), designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti, provide an attractive backdrop for photographers. The use of glass, concrete lace and the vacuum around the corridors give an impression of lightness and provide beautiful lighting effects.
The name "J4" given to this building of MuCEM comes from an old warehouse at the port of Joliette which stood on the site until 1997.

Bonsoir Delphine,

Hi Delphine
This is an inner beauty within the building complex envisioned by trained photographic eyes and so much to absorb in lovely detail within the limited space filled by repetitive lines, shapes, patterns and light & shadows beautifully mixed with the figs. Wonderful composition & vp with great perspective and depth to the left corner of frame and its continuous effect. This is aptly converted to mono, excellent sharpness and tonal contrast. A very well spotted as a great subject and you have a wonderful eye for this sort of shot. Great work, Congrats
Best regards

Salut Delphine,
Intéressant effet avec ces contrastes et cette architecture, bien vu avec ces personnes afin d'humaniser un peu cette présentation, bien le n&b pour l'effet de contraste.

Awesome photo. There are so many lines criss-crossing that it would be easy for the photo to feel confused and crowded, but it doesn't, because your crop creates a nice set of triangles in the composition that keep the eye from getting totally confused. The people walking along the pathway also help bring order to the otherwise seeming chaos. Great shot.
