Annecy Castle, a photo from Rhone Alpes, South

Photographer's Note

The former residence of the Counts of Geneva and the Dukes of Genevois-Nemours includes buildings ranging from s. XII at the end of s. XVI, and then abandoned. It is seat of the regional alpine lakes (in the tower Perri鑢e), with the usual "points interactive" art exhibits in the cool room (important fragments of murals of s. XV) and a museum dedicated to arts and traditions of the region.

La antigua residencia de los condes de Ginebra y de los duques de Genevois-Nemours comprende edificios que van del s. XII a finales del s. XVI, y que luego fueron abandonados. Es sede del Observatorio regional de los lagos alpinos (en la torre Perri鑢e), con los consabidos "puntos interactivos", exposiciones de pintura en la sala de los frescos (importantes fragmentos de murales del s. XV), as� como un museo dedicado a las artes y tradiciones de la regi髇.

I really like the low POV that makes the castle even more imposing, and the way the buildings on the left lead into the shot. Excellent active sky too, and the frame looks great.

Hola Luis, beautiful photo from your archive. I have heard that Annecy is a charming town, and I see it is true. beautiful castle just in town, and with ivy on the walls. Wonderful POV found, excellent colours. Nice autumn lights and long shadows.

Aunque con grados menos, hoy he sufrido en el rostro el fresco del norte que reina en todo el pa韘, aunque con un sol radiante.

This is a wonderful shot of this majestic castle. The angle of the shot provides excellent depth for the scene allowing us to see more than one side of the building. The lead in wall on the right helps bring the eye into the scene. The lighting and colors are splendid with excellent sharpness and detail.

I was intrigued by the pictures about this small town, saw on TE, fascinated by the beauty, architecture's and the vivid flower decorations everywhere and the many corners for an inquisitive photographers.
Now, I recion it ahs an historical Chateau that became a museum.

Me gusta el equilibrio y la armon韆 entre luz y sombras, y c髆o has destacado los elementos sobre un cielo azul magn韋ico.
