One day to Rochilles #5, a photo from Rhone Alpes, South

Rochilles camp, Valloire, Savoie.

The Rochilles pass marks the end of our walk. A quick glance at the panorama on the other side of the pass reveals the Rochilles camp. These military barracks are still used today for mountain hardening.

That day, we saw a group of mountain troops that literally impressed us with their dexterity to move on rocky and steep slopes. Seasoned eye can spot a second group of soldiers practicing climbing.

The camp is served by an unpaved military road, which provides easy access to three lakes (Grand Ban, Round and Clar閑) for hikers.

In the distance you can see the three sharp peaks of the Aiguilles d'Arves.

Great and stunning landscape view at all!
So clear and sharp image via the best mix of exposure and shutter speed. Framework and composition are also so ideal, I like so much.

Encore une photo bien sympathique, tr鑣 bien compos閑 avec ce camp plac� sur un point fort de l'image. Les aiguilles d'Arves qui 閙ergent dans le fond sont un autre point d'accroche pour le regard.

Another great mountain landscape. Beautiful mix of rocks and grass on the majestic slopes. The peaks in the background look impressive too against the blue sky.
