Photographer's Note

A view taken last January with this snowy and sunny mountain setting of one of my favorite panoramas ... just to point out the almost return of winter weather conditions these days, yet we had just enjoyed very beautiful spring days previous ones. And maybe snow in the north of France. Arboriculturists whose trees are in bloom fear morning frosts which could partially compromise future harvests...
Well, we know it, spring will be back soon.

Hello Jean, It is very similar to one of the pictures you showed earlier. Wonderful fresh snow with some animal traces when seen in the large format. beautiful winter landscape. Also in Poland, they say the winter will return for a moment.

Hello Jean,
A magnificent scenery where the snow and river form an attractive pattern. The larger version helps me see the people in the distance better, and also the traces of animals that have run across the field. The sharpness is impressive.

Bonjour Jean,
Spectacular composition. The water comes in so many shapes and patterns. Snow, ice and flowing water as well. Very well selected angle with busy foreground. I like the amazing quality with the details of snow surface perfectly recorded.
It feels so realistic, three dimensional.
Excellent quality work.
By the way we has a snowfall last night but the snow didn't last.

lovely winter image with snow and water running despite the ice. I am hearing in the radio a city in southern brazil broke the lower temperature record for march in the last 110 years (3 celsius), summer finished only a week ago.

Une vall閑 que l'on reconnait tout de suite.
Jolie composition avec l'alternance de la neige et de la rivi鑢e, les montagnes de l'autre c魌� et les branchages qui encadrent le premier plan.

This is a beautiful view down the valley on a clear and sunny day in winter. The trees on both sides in the foreground create a nice green frame on either side of the white landscape and the river running through it.

This view is certainly worth seeing in several versions. Half frozen river looks just great. And so does the snowfield with animal footprints. The mountain background is fantastic of course.
