Photographer's Note

This is Camaret's postcard, the Notre Dame de Rocamadour Chapel. The current building dates from 1527, the original place of worship has suffered the ravages of time and military assaults, like the bell tower decapitated by a bomb !
The interior is a complement of the visit, one sees there while raising the nose of the votive offerings and the boats ... pretty models to honor the sailors-fishermen of the city some of whom perished at sea. WS.

Lep pogled i trenutak, interesantan tekst ...
Lepo mesto i stara arhitektura, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa prolaznicima.
Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici, lep enterijer i detalji.

Hello Jean,
The church has an attractive and original shape and the surrounding people create a quite lively view. The WS shows an interesting interior. Both photos are well taken with good sharpness and fine colours.

Hello Jean,

The people animate the scene and provide scale. Good sharpness and linear perspective added by the row of posts at right nd the esplanade at left. The church gives a focal point. Tfs!

Hello Jean,

I have never before seen a church so obviously dedicated to sailors and sea-going people! Even the outside of the church has an anchor memento!
I like your chosen viewpoint where the diverging lines act like a border to the church.
The facing wall is highlighted by the sun, in a most attractive way.
The whole is a most attractive shot.
