PLAS AR HORN, LOCRONAN, BRITTANY

At the top of Menez Lokorn, the hill of Locronan, this chapel have been constructed in 1977 and keep beautiful glasses by Jean Bazaine. This place is one of the stop during the Great Trom閚ie, a 12 kilometers long traditional procession. Saint Ronan, an irish hermit living there in the VIth century used to do this march everyday.

The name of the place means 搕he place of the horn�. According to the legend, one of the oxen pulling Saint Ronan抯 funeral cart lost a horn there. It had been beaten by a bad woman who hated the saint. The earth opened and made her disappear. The cart stopped not far from there and the town of Locronan was founded.

I like you composition, framing the front of the church in light, &keeping the remainder of the structure in darkness

J'aime beaucoup!!
les couleurs bien sur, mais aussi le fait que seule l'avant de la chapelle soit 閏lair� et que cette lumi鑢e fasse ressortir la texture des pierres.
C'et tr鑣 bien vu!!
Une note tr鑣 compl鑤e, mais tu as du te tromper sur la date de construction, non?
Du tr鑣 beau travail!!

Salut Jean-Michel,
Tr鑣 bon cadrage, les couleurs du ciel et les lignes de nuages dans des couleurs chaudes sont bien saisie et contraste bien avec le restant bleu.
Le jeu d'ombre et du lumi鑢e est bien vu faisant ressortir les contours des pierres de la fa鏰de.
