KORNOG & TAMMLES, PLOUMANAC’H, BRO GERNE
KORNOG & TAMMLES PLAYING BRETON MUSIC, PLOUMANAC’H, BRITTANY
Tomorrow, May, 19th, its Gouel Erwan / Saint Yves, our patron’s day like St Patrick, St Andrew, St Dewi or St Piran for our celtic cousins. For that “national” day, no military parade, but more and more music.
On this occasion, I choosed to share an old picture showing a musical session during Ploumanac'h maritime festival in july 1987. Great Breton musicians are playing: KORNOG and TAMMLES, two of the best groups of this time (and maybe of the century)!
From Left to right: Phillipe Janvier (with glasses): Bombard; Alain Pennec: accordion; Jean-Michel Veillon: the best flutist of the world ! Jaimie McMenemy (scottich gest star): bouzouki; Christian Lemaitre: fiddle; Jean-Yves Martial: fiddle.

Salut jean Michel

Salut Jean-Michel
Une photo qui respire la nostalgie. Ca me rappelle des souvenirs...
Par contre y a bien une chose qui change pas, c'est les pintes de bière ;-)
D'ailleurs j'ai une petite soif...
yec'hed mat!

Bonjour Jean Michel,
I love this action scene — displaying brilliant colors, good composition and high defintion — all set againt the timeless stone houses of Ploumanach. I cannot believe that 180 viewers have 'walked by' this photo hanging in your gallery, and only two have seen fit to recognize it. It is excellent, and I commend you for it!
I hate to use the word "pander," but a little of this is sometimes necessary. After you post a photo, comment on a few recently posted, and people will be compelled to visit your gallery. It is happily, a growing collection of some very good photos.
Amicalement!
Bulent
