KORNOG & TAMMLES PLAYING BRETON MUSIC, PLOUMANAC扝, BRITTANY

Tomorrow, May, 19th, its Gouel Erwan / Saint Yves, our patron抯 day like St Patrick, St Andrew, St Dewi or St Piran for our celtic cousins. For that 搉ational day, no military parade, but more and more music.

On this occasion, I choosed to share an old picture showing a musical session during Ploumanac'h maritime festival in july 1987. Great Breton musicians are playing: KORNOG and TAMMLES, two of the best groups of this time (and maybe of the century)!

From Left to right: Phillipe Janvier (with glasses): Bombard; Alain Pennec: accordion; Jean-Michel Veillon: the best flutist of the world ! Jaimie McMenemy (scottich gest star): bouzouki; Christian Lemaitre: fiddle; Jean-Yves Martial: fiddle.
