Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

My photograph shows a different view of the Pink Granite Coast, this time with the lighthouse in view.

This is the Ploumanach Lighthouse (officially the Mean Ruz lighthouse) and is an active lighthouse in C魌es-d'Armor, France.

The pink colour of the rocks is evident and you can see that the lighthouse is composed from the surrounding pink granite. It marks the entrance to the channel leading to the port of Ploumanach.

It is not surprising that this is a very popular stretch of coast for walkers, swimmers and those wanting to linger over a picnic!

Thank you for your interest.
Keep safe, Bev :-)
