AN ABATI KOZH, SANT SULEG AR C扝OAD, BRO ROAZHON

OLD CISTERCIAN ABBEY, SAINT SULPICE LA FOR蔜, BRITTANY

According to the legend, a young shepherd found an antique statue of the Virgin Mary inside a blackbird nest, near a pond. A chapel was founded there, as the statue refused to quit the place and mysteriously came back when it was brought somewhere else.

The ruins belongs to the 搊ur lady upon the water� chapel built in 1447 (little picture top and door抯 picture middle and right). The chapel became a house after the French revolution.

Nearby, 攐ur lady of the blackbird抯 nest� abbey was created around 1110 by an hermit, Raoul de La Fustaye, according to the model of Fontevrault abbey. The abbey grew and the Dukes of Brittany, Conan III and Conan IV gave parts of the Rennes forest (and not Rain forest !) so that the monastic set became a parish from 1200 until 1792. The leaving of the monks and sisters led to the decline of the monastic economy.

THE PICTURE: in this group of scanned photos, none was worth posting alone. On the contrary, I tried to show a global view of this old place with the whole set.

De tr鑣 belles pierres dans une pr閟entation int閞essante mais sans doute hors TOS et une note tr鑣 instructive.Il y a un sacr� patrimoine dans notre belle r間ion.
Bravo pour photo de sportif accompli sur ta page de pr閟entation, l'eau n'閠ait pas trop froide!!

1 tr鑣 bon point pour la note sacr閙ent travaill閑!
1 tr鑣 bon point aussi pour le montage, s'il est vrai que ces montages ne soient pas dans le TOS(?) Oups..� lire des tonnes de doc dans la journ閑, j'ai seulement parcouru le r鑗lement int閞ieur :-)). Je me rappel qu'il est efectivement interdit de retoucher les photos pour faire des montages (retouchr dans le sens truqu�?), par contre dans le d閠ail faudrait que je relise...mais 鏰 explique qu'il y en ai peu des commes 鏰.
Je suis d'accord avec toi sur le fait que peut 阾re toutes les photos n'auraient pas m閞it� un post comme les 2 plans larges sur le c魌� mais dans ce montage elles y trouvent toute leur place.
Je suis assez client de ce format que j'utilise aussi, notamment pour me faire des souvenirs de lieux ou d'関鑞ements � partir de photos prisent sur le vif...
Beau travail sur celle l� en tous les cas, j'esp鑢e qu'elle survivra au TOS ;-))
