The manoir du Chant d'Oiseau, the manor house of the singing of bird, of the 15th century, is differently named according to sources, of which the "manoir du Chant d'oiseau", which I choose. Registered on historic monuments since 1929. Private property.

On the right bank of the brook Martiel, the building in the shape of quadrangle is framed by a round tower and a hexagonal tower. The manor house presents tracks of more ancient constructions.
The Lord Emar Odart is the oldest known owner, quoted in 1253.

LES TROIS-MOUTIERS is a French municipality, located in the Vienne departement of Poitou-Charentes region, populated by 1065 Trimoust閞iens in 2007, spread across 35.9 km�, or 29.6 hab/km�.

Three parishes possessing each a monastery, a moutier in old French, were gathered to form the municipality of Les Trois-Moutiers.

Th History of the village of Les Trois-Moutiers.

Joan of Arc, 1412-1431, would have stop off at the manor house of the "Chant d'Oiseau".

In Curzay, near Les Trois-Moutiers, future king of france Louis IX, known as Saint-Louis, on 1214-1270, accompanied with her mother queen Blanche de Castille, 1188-1252, came to dispense justice.

Ce petit ch鈚eau est tr鑣 agr閍ble, c'est comme une villa d'閠� pour les nobles de l'閜oque.
Composition tr鑣 bonne, 閠ant encadr閑s par les arbres.
Encore une fois le soleil 閠ait alli� avec vous sur un tr鑣 nuageux.
Le WS et la rivi鑢e sont tr鑣 belles aussi.

Le beau titre pour le beau motif. Une pfoto qui decrit l'atmosphere mais aussi un gros plan presentarait bien cette elegante idee architecturale. Et si on pouvait y antrer, pour s'inspirer encore....Merci Joel de ce partage ainsi que pour tous les autres que je revois avec retard mais fidelement.

Les arbres cadrent bien le manoir. La distance entre les arbres et le manoir donne de la profondeur � la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les d閠ails et les couleurs de l'architecture du manoir du Chant d'Oiseau. La bonne luminosit� rehausse la beaut� des couleurs. Bonne soir閑.

Tes trois bonnes photos permettent de se faire une bonne id閑 de ce joli manoir. Les lucarnes du toit sont vraiment 閠onnantes, tranchant avec la sobri閠� des murs en dessous.

These place is my unknown in France, we get a very quiet place with a wonderful castle completely alone middle of the nature.
Sharpness and clarity are very nice.
Perspective and presentation are very well.
Composition and colors are pleasant, TFS.

Quelle belle pr閟entation de ce manoir que l'on d閏ouvre au bout d'une profonde perspective "herbeuse". Les arbres cadranet eux aussi � merveille le manoir. Et toujours ce ciel nuaguex qui a le m閞ite de ne pas alt閞er les couleurs.
