Brezons Cantal department - 214 inhabitants - altitude 820 m - Paris 555 km

Viewpoint overlooking the village of Brezons and its church of St. Hilaire built in the 11th century and partly rebuilt in the year 1600.
The village near the Bourguet is located in the caldera of the Cantalian mountain.
The recent eruptions of the Puys volcanos date back 8000 years or 6000 years ago. A new activity can not be excluded as was stated Haroun Tazieff who was a pioneer of science communication around the volcanoes.

I used my wife's Nikon Coolpix L19, not easy to master and it took me three attempts to get a correct picture. Depending on the viewing angle, the image can be easily overexposed.
