The church of Chapaize, a photo from Bourgogne, Central

Photographer's Note

The Romanesque church of Saint Martin in Chapaiza dates from the tenth or eleventh century, the apse is beautiful, hovering over the dome surmounted by a belfry with arches Lombard type pendants and two orders of windows, the interior is sober, divided into three ships supported by rough cylindrical pillars.

This church is what remains of a priory dependent on St. Pierre de Chalon, in the seventeenth century took parish functions that were transferred from the old church of St. Leger.

La iglesia romanica de Saint Martin data de los siglos X-Xi, es hermoso el 醔side, sobre el que asoma el cimborrio rematado por el campanario de tipo lombardo con arquillos colgantes y dos 髍denes de vanos; el interior es sobrio, dividido en tres naves apoyadas en toscos pilares cil韓dricos.

Esta iglesia es lo que queda de un priorato dependiente de Saint Pierre de Chalon, en el siglo XVII tomo las funciones parroquiales que le fueron traspasadas de la antigua iglesia de Saint L間er.

Hola Luis ,
We can see this kind of romanesque church with lombard tower in many parts of Spain , too (Aragon , Catalumya , ...) . It is for me e discovery to see an example from Bourgogne .

Wonderful how the deep blue sky has separated the shot making the prominent historic subject stands out and looks so catchy. An elegant architecture of the church, full framed in its tranquil environment. Nice taken POV with the bells-tower dominating the scene.
Romanesque it is as I recon there are arched small number of windows as the old Roman builr throughout the ancient Empire.
Cemerey flowers decorated the whole.

buen encuadre vertical para poder recoger toda la sencilla belleza de esta iglesia rom醤ica, cuyo campanario se yergue elegantemente destac醤dose sobre el atractivo cielo azul.
Me gusta el papel que juega la luz sobre estas viejas piedras, creando unas sugerentes sombras que realzan las formas y vol鷐enes de una bella arquitectura.
Las flores sobre las tumbas del cementerio en el primer plano a馻den unas bonitas pinceladas de color a una composici髇 ya de por s� muy llamativa.
Excelente trabajo de hace casi siete a駉s.
