Rue d'Aubagne (district of Noailles), Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhone.

Oliver, my greeter, brought me to a little paradise: this store of spices located in the popular neighborhood of Noailles. And this store is aptly named 揕抲nivers alimentaire� (The universe of Food).

There are spices from all around the world. India, North Africa, China, Vietnam, Central Africa... All communities come here (Marseille is a cosmopolitan city). I confess I had never seen such an abundance of spices. The picturesque scenery of colorful spices pyramids continues on a good fifteen meters (maybe more, I do not have a compass in the eye!), and it's a real feast for the eyes. Nicely, the boss has allowed me to take 2-3 pictures of the stalls.

Salut Delphine,cette image est surement pas une nouvelle idee',especiellement pour qui a visite' les pays arabes,mais ta classe a fait la difference,avec ce cadrage diagonale et la grande corniche,qualite' au top des details et couleurs comme d'habitude.Belle journee' et merci,Luciano

Ahhh I love both your subject and the skill which you've put into photographing it so well. Excellent tight framing, wonderful rich textures and tones and of course the white frame complements and emphasises all these excellent elements.
