Photographer's Note
Le haras de Tarbes fournit les chevaux pour la police montée de cette ville, qui ne respecte pas les panneaux de signalisation. Le cheval n'est pas un véhicule et n'a donc pas l'obligation de respecter le code de la route!

Hello Claude,
Nice capture from Tarbes with good pov and layout.
The yellow fassade creates a nice background to the scenery. Nice framed.
TFS and good evening

Hi Claude,
I like how you used the traffic sign as a part of the action in this scene. A clever shot and an excellent observation, bravo!
Best regards/

Salut Claude. Funny note accompanying this image. Whether a horse is a mode of transport or not is debatable. Cleverly composed image and caught just in time. Amicalement. Klaudio.

Bonjour Claude,
Une vue originale mais qui apporte un peu de fraîcheur je trouve. En fait, j'aime surtout la façade un peu défraichie qui présente un aspect très graphique. Chez moi aussi, on croise parfois des policiers à cheval, mais rarement en centre ville.
Amicalement,
Delphine

Hello Claude,
A well timed and amusing photo. Most cyclists, at least where I live, behave like these polise horses. They act as if no traffic rules apply to them.

Bonjour Claude,
You were at the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time, if you will forgive the pun!
A very well observed situation nicely captured.
It's a good job they weren't Italian police or they would have been prosecuting themselves! We got a £100 fine for just turning in the opening of a one-way street!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Salut Claude. As usual, the police can break the law, while the sign clearly doesn't allow turn right, the police officers turn anyway :)
Nice piece of work, lovely colours and the entire scene attracts eye attention.
Thanks for sharing, have a sound weekend !!!

Hi Claude
i'm not sure what it is exactly, but i love this scene.
perhaps its the yellow colors that drew me in first.
the combination of the yellow color, the cracking wall exterior, the window shutters and the trims of the doors/windows just make it an appealing scene.
on a composition note...i know its a small point to make, but i think a tiny step to your right would have placed the pole more appropriately to the left. then it would have been squarely inbetween the window shutter and the door frame instead of directly on the window shutter trim. you know what i mean? just a minor nit picking :) Hope you don't mind me saying so.
enjoy your day
Craig
