Photographer's Note
MaMo, Cité radieuse, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône
After street art, up to another beautiful artistic discovery of Marseille: the MaMo (reference to MoMA in New York). Marseille Modulor is the contemporary art center of the famous Cité Radieuse by Le Corbusier. The exhibition space is located on the top floor and continues on the rooftop terrace.
During summer of 2013, the exhibition was dedicated to Veilhan, a plastic artist. Minimalist visual artworks looked well with the raw architecture of Le Corbusier.
I liked the sun and its light cloudy veil.
The MaMo held since 2013 the former gymnasium of the Cité radieuse. Marseille designer Ora-Ito was the instigator of this new contemporary center.

Hello Delphine,
I am not quite sure what I am looking at and I don't get much wiser from searching the net to compare with other photos from this museum. But whatever this is, you have made it your own composition, and I like it. The straight lines and the curves, the darker areas and the lighter areas, and the sun and clouds reflected in.... something... are all very attractive. A wider view, to explain this photo, could have been useful.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonsoir Delphine,
I believe that this is a detail in the architecture, I think it's magnificent in its concept and I like how you used it as the theme of your artistic photo. The geometry of your composition is superb, lines and shapes are well placed, the role of the light is original and challenging. The definition of the thin lines is remarkable, especially in the part where they overlap. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania

Salut Delphine.

Hi Delphine,
A very well composed picture, like an abstract work of art. The B&W format looks very good here in the balanced picture.
Kind regards

Hi Delphine
It's good doing an image in this style at times for a change compared to the usual highly detailed creations. Interesting though a minimalism image does require a fair amount of creative thought still such as composition and tones etc so that it looks right. This is very cool abstract effect with masses of detail but absolutely restful to the eye. Congrats
Best regards

Hello Delphine
Super shot, and your title says it all. The exposure must have been tricky, but you've managed it completely successfully. Interesting choice of monochrome: for once I'm surprised by it, but have to admit that it works very well. Excellent work.
