Photographer's Note
Cathedral street, Marseille.
Walking in the old Panier district, a neighborhood undergoing a renaissance after several rehabilitation operations. The district, popular tourist becomes. Artists' studios and a different population settled there gradually.
Marseille Cathedral appears at the corner of a street. Santa Maria Maggiore cathedral, better known under the name of "Major", was built between 1852 and 1893 on an esplanade overlooking the harbor of Joliette (ferry terminal). It replaces the old Major, built in the twelfth century, which it remains today the choir and a span.
As a symbol, a family going on at that time, was carrying a bulky piece of furniture, probably in order to replace it with a new one.

Bonjour Delphine
Vue intéressante sur la cathédrale à partir de cette rue étroite
Je me suis permis un WS afin d'éclaircir un peu les parties sombres sans déteriorer la photo

Hi Delphine
One of those narrow alleys you could skip past but then have to come back to look at and the longer you look into it the better it gets. Good monochrome, lovely perspective and there is a lot of detail squeezed in there, and you've got the exposure just about spot on with adequate visible details. The stark contrasty persons are strong pointers in the dark alley and that's what makes them inherently what they are. You've captured the atmosphere & moodiness very well with good hints of the bg to clinch the shot. A lovely piece of artwork -culture, styles, architecture and slice of life well visualised and executed image. Captivating. Congrats
Best regards

Bonjour Delphine,
Very atmospheric street scene with the tower of the church in the centre. It is nicely framed with the buildings on both sides of the narrow street. Children's silhouettes make a nice addition and bring some life to the composition,
Very well done,
M
