Hello friends and colleagues, today I propose a scene of daily life with tourists in the beautiful city of Strasbourg, I hope you like it. Then some letters about the city.

Strasbourg (French: Strasbourg, in Alsatian: Strossburi, in German: Stra遙urg) is a city in France, capital and main city of Alsace and eastern France. Strasbourg is the capital of the Lower Rhine department. The urban area of Strasbourg reached a population of 1,175,393 in 2009, extending its influence to nearby towns in Germany and ranking 4th in the largest population centers in France. Due to its location, Strasbourg has been an important communication center, especially on the river, since ancient times, housing the second most important port on the River Rhine, which is the busiest river in the world. University city with more than 58 000 students, has numerous national schools, being the largest pole of third grade studies in the country. The commercial structure of Estraburgo is very important and its cultural range, very high with the presence of a national theater, library, orchestra and opera all of them. The city is, with the capital of the country, the only one to have that level of cultural institutions. Strasbourg is the second banking center in France with a stock exchange and 8 bank branches. The industrial sector is particularly active, with the Strasbourg region being the most dynamic in the country in terms of GDP per capita. Its historic center has been declared a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1988 and its tourist activity is very intense. It is the eighth city in the world list of congress organizing cities, behind Paris and ahead of Barcelona.

This is more and more the image of the old cities in Europe. It is becoming increasingly difficult to photograph the beautiful old buildings separately because there is always a group of tourists walking. But it also makes the photos more lively. And it's nice to watch all those people.

The elegant lamp makes a nice frame for the group of tourists and the delightful architecture in the background. Well exposed with excellent colours and clarity. I like the patterns and colours to be seen in the cobblestones.

daily life with tourists, thats exactly what this is, just like you said. We all know about the tourist side of this city, but I wonder what the 'real' strasbourg looks like. Or perhaps this is the way it all is? Not sure. those buildings in the bg are calling my name, they overtake the scene as the main focal point in my humble opinion. Also, I like the colors and the diffused lighting. nice shot, not always easy to do with tourists in the fg. cheers

Strasbourg is one of my favourite places to visit and your photograph reveals why I love it so much! The buildings are so pretty and so full of individuality that they are wonderful just to look at!
Your photograph is well composed, the lamppost anchoring the f/g and a strong angled line proceeding from this point, encompassing figures and strong road-surface details.
The photograph is clear and interesting.

Precioso este rincon de Strasbourg muy animado con este grupo de turistas, los varios colores y formas de las casas queda ideal, me gusta la farola siempre quedan bien.

Tourists presence on this picture gave a "human touch" to the cityscape, Angel, a wonderful perspective with background view upon the exquisite architecture.
Strasbourg is one heaven for photographers, we enjoyed our visit there in 06/2013.
