Bonjour Jean,
spectacular photo, what a great way to pay tribute to this amazing structure. One of the most recognizable churches in the world! The view is so beautiful that even without the terrible fire -it could bring tears into the eyes of a viewer. If now one thinks that this view does not exist anymore.
It is simply unbelievable!
Perfect photo, I may have some record of this beautiful cathedral but nothing as great as this photo!
I have visited Paris several times and every time I tried to at least stop at Notre Dame. Once I have been on a business trip there having very limited time but I had to get out of the subway even for a short moment to have a look at Notre Dame.
This was so symbolic!

Cet incendie est une catastrophe pour le patrimoine architectural et historique de la France. La prise de vue permet d'admirer les détails de la basilique Notre-Dame. La lumière de l'heure bleue a un effet pécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hello Jean,
I wish I could just be seeing this fantastic photo of Notre Dame on TV instead of the horrendous images I am watching at the moment. The golden illuminations of the mighty medieval cathedral are gorgeous and the dark sky and small clouds make a great backdrop. We can only hope that by some miracle as much as possible can still be saved.

C'est certainement la plus belle de la journée. L'heure bleue est magnifique ainsi que l'illumination de la cathédrale. Les nuages ressemblent à des petits poissons dans l'eau.

When I first read the news yesterday, I had no idea of how terrible it had been, it is so sad and impressive to have seen this great tower going down with the fire... This is a wonderful tribute to this famous cathedral, you captured that in a very nice moment, at the blue hour, which gives beautiful colors to the composition!

Hello Jean, fantastic shot taken at the blue hour next to the canal surrounding the cathedral. Now the spire and the roof have collapsed, the monument is quite different. I hope it will be repaired soon. Good night light management, superb colors

It was very painful moment for a citizens of France but also for rest of the world watching the fire of cathedral on TV. Many tourists visited this spiritual place including me.
