Threatening clouds and suddenly ... a sky intermittently illuminated by lightning streaking the sky of this early evening; a spectacular phenomenon before downpours of water obscure the view by an opaque and damp curtain.

Interesantan i lep pogled, opasan trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepe fasade kuca i opasni oblaci sa munjom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom.

Hello Jean,
The colours and light made this an exciting view even before the lightning struck, but this bright white flash across the sky makes it rather dramatic. You timed it perfectly and exposed it well.

Hello Jean,

The gloomy clouds set the scene, especially with their contrasts with the pale coloured houses!
What amazing timing!
The lightning is streaking across the sky, seeming to illuminate the lower parts with golden light!

We have had similar clouds, with the odd burst of thunder but then massive hailstone storms!!

Bonjour Jean,
looking at miniature I thought the first one was so much better with the fragment of the blue sky at the top, but then I noticed the thunders and of course I got impressed with this capture very much.
I have never manage to capture the thunderstorms in a photo.
Here you have it also with a sunset colors.

Amazing timing to catch the lightning in the dramatic storm sky. The dark clouds and the warmer parts look fantastic. The white houses of the town add a nice contrast as well.

Hi Jean,
Lightnings always look great and they are so difficult to capture on a photo. You got it just right on this one. Evening light and dark clouds make this more dramatic. and there is enough light in the foreground too.

Hello Jean,

Perfect timing to catch this and you had a good solid support to prevent camera shake. Either a fence or tripod. The lightning bolt is also well positioned on the vertical 1/3 axis. Tfs!

its pretty cool when you can capture a lighting bolt from the clouds! With my luck, i'd get struck and be killed haha.
lovely atmosphere, and I like how the bolt dips behind or into the cloud, then re appears. cheers

A spectacular photo with great drama in the sky. I can almost hear the thunder. It is rare to get a successful photo of lighting, but you have succeeded here. Nice colours in the sky, and an interesting light on the houses. Excellent work!
