Photographer's Note

A huge bank of snow at the top of one of the ski lifts in the Grand Montets ski area, Chamonix. The ski resort of Chamonix Mont Blanc is situated in the Mont-Blanc area of the Haute-Savoie in the Northern Alps region.

It is basically untouched apart from a wee bit of sharpening. I was wondering if I should have cropped away some of the bank of snow at the bottom of the picture?

Hi Lisa,

Wonderful snow landscape.
The textures of the snow stands very clear and sharp. The light is just superb and nicely handled.
As you said yourself the proportions is better in the WS photo, but there you have lots of noise in it. So I prefer this one.
