Autumn in Kromlau

Kromlau, Lower Silesia, is a community of the Saxon municipality of Gablenz in the district of G鰎litz. The village in the Sorbian settlement area of the Upper Lusatia is mainly known for the Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau, the largest rhododendron park in Germany, and its "Devil's Bridge"

The Rakotzbr點ke (also known as Teufelsbr點ke, meaning "the Devil's Bridge") is 35 meters long and spans Rakotz lake. The bridge features artificially-formed basalt columns selected and shipped from distant quarries. It was commissioned in 1860 "by the knight of the local town",] Friedrich Herrmann R鰐schke (1805-1893). The bridge was renovated in 2018 and 2019, though it remains forbidden to cross the bridge, for the safety of the public and the bridge.

Hi Piotr,autumn photos are now a must, but often repetitive and boring. Something special was needed and you hit the target in full, this perfect circle formed by the bridge and its reflections among the colored trees is a brilliant shot of absolute quality. The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the bridge and of the trees with the fall colors. The colors are beautiful. Have a nice day.

Cześć, Fantastyczne zdjęcie. Znam ten widok ze zdjęć właśnie. To o rzut beretem od Bad Muskau i Parku Mużakowskiego, gdzie byłam, a jakoś tego nie znalazłam. Idealne to odbicie i kolory jesieni.
W grudniu znowu jadę z R. Na co mi przyszło.. Synowa m體i że jestem mało ambitna. Zobaczymy, jak będzie w przyszłym roku.

The autumn colours are really amazing and the orange and yellow leaves were lit by a fine sunlight. The reflections in the calm water are amazing, too, especially with that old bridge, which now seems to form a full circle.

Hi Piotr,
This historic bridge looks great, and still so fragile it is pretty obvious that it is not safe to cross it. Together with reflection there is almost perfect circle. Autumn colours look great and sunshine gives good contrast.
