Photographer's Note
When you walk the "Maximilianstra遝 (Maxstra遝)" in Augsburg from the city hall (Rathaus) towards the south, you pass the church of St. Moritz (St. Moritzkirche) at the "Moritzplatz". It was built in 1020 and was destroyed in WW 2 and rebuilt in 1950.
The colourful house in the middle is the so called "Weberhaus" (weaver house). It was a guild house for the weaver craftsmanship up to 1548. The building was damaged in WW 2, rebuilt in 1959 and unforunately suffered a severe fire in 2004. Because of strong donations it could be rebuilt in the last years and looks like nothing ever happened.
